This guide summarizes Electro & Company’s current policies. The complete Terms and Conditions control if this summary differs from the published policy.
Warranty Coverage for Complete Bikes
Complete bikes include a 30-day limited warranty against defects, a six-month limited warranty on powertrain components, and a 30% discount on powertrain components during the first year.
Covered powertrain components:
- Motor
- Controller
- Display
- Battery
Warranty coverage is non-transferable.
Warranty Coverage for Parts and Kits
Parts and kits include a 30-day limited warranty against defects on all products and a six-month limited warranty against defects on motors, controllers, and E&C batteries. Coverage is non-transferable.
Eon Lithium Batteries
Eon Lithium batteries include a one-year limited manufacturer warranty administered under Eon Lithium’s warranty terms. Eon Lithium determines whether a failure qualifies.
What Is Not Covered?
- Normal wear and tear
- Tires, tubes, brake pads, brake rotors, chains, and sprockets
- Water, accident, or crash damage
- Damage caused by non-E&C parts
- Abuse, misuse, or unauthorized modifications
- Incorrect installation
- Overheating caused by use, setup, or installation
E&C or the applicable manufacturer will inspect the evidence and determine warranty eligibility.
Warranty Shipping
Lower 48 states: E&C pays approved warranty shipping both ways during the first 30 days. After 30 days, the customer is responsible for shipping the product to E&C.
Outside the lower 48: the customer is responsible for shipping both ways.
Do not ship a battery, motor, controller, or other product until Support provides instructions. Batteries require special handling.
Returns and Exchanges
Due to the DIY and custom nature of E&C products, returns are not accepted. E&C instead provides troubleshooting, technical support, repair services, and warranty assistance when applicable.
The Terms do not provide a general exchange program. If you received the wrong item, an incomplete shipment, or an apparently defective product, contact Support before installation or use.
Cancellations and Order Changes
Stock-product orders may be canceled until sent to fulfillment. Once fulfillment begins, cancellation may no longer be possible. Custom-order changes require written authorization and may affect price and delivery time.
A refund requested after E&C receives payment is subject to a 5% non-refundable reservation fee. Approved refunds generally take 3–7 business days to appear.
How to Request Warranty Assistance
- Original purchaser’s name and order number
- Product, model, and serial/device ID
- Detailed problem description and relevant event history
- Modifications or non-E&C components
- Clear connection photos and a short video when safe
- Error-code images
- ANT BMS screenshots for applicable batteries
Stop using the product immediately for smoke, swelling, leaking, hissing, melted connectors, severe heat, unusual odor, or unexpected motor operation.
