I'm trying to share a video in the ticket, but permissions are restricted, how do I update permissions?

Method (from Google Drive)

1. Locate your file

  • Go to Google Drive
  • Find your video file

2. Open sharing settings

  • Right-click the file
  • Click “Share”

3. Change access

In the pop-up:

  • Under General access, click the dropdown
  • Change:
    • From “Restricted”
    • 👉 To “Anyone with the link”

4. Set permission level

  • Make sure it says:
    • Viewer (recommended for videos)

5. Copy link

  • Click “Copy link”

 

Steps (Mobile App)

1. Open Google Drive

  • Launch the app
  • Find your video file

2. Open file options

  • Tap the 3 dots (⋮) next to the file

3. Tap “Manage access”

  • This opens the sharing settings

4. Change access

  • Look for “General access”
  • Tap it and switch:
    • From Restricted
    • 👉 To Anyone with the link

5. Set permission

  • Choose:
    • Viewer (recommended)

6. Copy link

  • Tap Copy link
