RTR CNC Footpeg Bracket Installation and Use Instructions

Installation Instructions:

1. Remove the stock footpeg bracket
2. Install the new CNC footpeg bracket using the supplied hardware as shown.  While the stock footpeg bracket mounted on the inside of the frame, the new CNC footpeg bracket mounts to the outside of the frame.
3. Install the kickstand if desired using the stock mounting hardware, as well as the nylon washer noted below.

Use Instructions:

• Footpeg Removal and Installation

1. Remove the clip from the bottom of the peg bracket

2. Loosen the footpeg pin using an 8mm hex key and unthread from the lower section of the peg bracket, then carefully slide upwards and out of the peg bracket.

3. Installation is reverse of removal.  It is recommended to apply a small amount of medium strength thread locker (typically blue) to the threads on the footpeg pin prior to installation.  It can be a bit tricky to line up the lower washer with the footpeg pin, the pin should install smoothly so if excessive resistance is felt the washer is likely not aligned. 

• Kickstand Removal

1. If you do not desire to run a kickstand, a separate spacer has been provided to replace the kickstand bracket.  First, remove the left footpeg by following the steps in the “Footpeg Removal” section.
2. Loosen the two bolts holding the peg bracket in place and remove the kickstand mount as shown.  
3. Install the spacer in place of the kickstand bracket, then reinstall the peg bracket and footpeg.
