To remove the motor:
1. Remove your battery
2. Key on the bike to discharge any stored voltage in the controller
3. Remove the front panel to access the controller (Pull panel from top back, unhook from the bottom)
4. Using a PH2 or 8mm socket, remove the 3 phase wires (Green, Yellow, Blue), then unclip the smaller 6 pin connector for the hall sensor
5. The motor wires should be free now.
6. Using an 10mm socket, remove the 4 M8 bolts to release the motor mounts and motor from the swingarm
- Optional: You can break the chain to remove it prior to undoing the motor to get it out of the way
7. Using an 8mm socket, remove the motor mounts from the motor
