- Remove 2mm set screw from the pivot point on the brake lever
- Using a punch, tap the silver pin downwards, it will exit down the bottom. Note: There is a black retainer that will come out with the lever, ensure you reinsert this before putting the pin back in
- Spin the adjustment screw clockwise, this will retract the lever body off of the adjustment screw
